Matariki

Matariki is when you celebrate  Maori new year.  Room6 had to do art about matariki.  We had to study on our whakapapa ,which means family.  We wrote a pepeha, which introduces us,that we stuck to the bottom of the harakeke/flax bush.  

 We hung it up so people could see them

    It is nice to see everyones pepeha and whakapapa displayed in Room 6.
